Regina I. “Jean” (Henshey) Smith, 68 of Antis Township died unexpectedly Friday at her home. She was born in Altoona daughter of the late John Louis and Helen I. (Reed) Henshey. Surviving are a sister: Barbara J. Dugan of Montoursville; two brothers: Kenneth W. (Debbie) and Jeff (Suzie) both of Antis Township; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; and all of her four legged friends that she spoiled at the farm. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Jamie I.; a sister: Becky; and three brothers: John L., Jr., Daniel R. and Gary L. Jean retired as an assembler at General Cable, Altoona. She was a 1963 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School. Jean was a member of her high school class reunion committee and enjoyed bowling. Friends will be received from 6-8p.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2013 and 10 until the 11am funeral service on Wednesday December 11, 2013 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood, Rev. Robert Stump officiating. Interment at Logan Valley Cemetery. Bellwood. The family suggests that contributions in Jean’s memory be made to Excelsior Fire Co. No. 1, Bellwood.
