Richard D. Gondek, 62, Morrisdale died early Wednesday morning November 27, 2019 at Centre Crest, Bellefonte. He was born March 11, 1957 in Spangler son of the late Frank and Clara Anne (Brink) Gondek. On July 14, 1978, he married Tammera A. McCloskey at Logan Valley Presbyterian Church, Bellwood. Surviving are his wife; a nephew, Michael Gondek of Sinking Valley; and his mother in law, Nancy Turnbaugh of Morrisdale. Richard was a 1976 graduate of Altoona Area High School and he retired as a punch press operator at Proctor Silex, Altoona. He loved fishing and hunting. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral services. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions in Richard’s memory be made to a church or a charity of choice.
