Suzanne L. Hay, 77, Bellwood died Thursday afternoon February 14, 2019 at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness. She was born July 24, 1941 in Altoona, daughter of the late Samuel J. and Dorothy M. (Sellers) Hay. Surviving are a cousin, Stuart (Kathy) Sellers of Altoona; and her friends, Norma “Cookie” Shenkle of Bellwood, Barbara Kraft, Karen Walker and Emily Wance. Suzanne retired as a clerk in the insurance industry and was formerly employed as a youth and family counselor at Girl Haven, Holllidaysburg. She attended New Life Community Church of Altoona. She enjoyed helping people and was a friend to many. A memorial service will be held at 4pm Sunday, March 3, 2019 at New Life Community Church, Altoona, the Rev. Terry Farr officiating, followed by a time of fellowship. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Suzanne's memory may be made to New Life Community Church 621 Bell Av. Altoona, PA.
