William S. Deininger Obituary

William S. Deininger, 87, Tipton died early Saturday morning at Epworth Manor, Tyrone.
He was born in Brackenridge son of the late William C. and Helen (Weinel) Deininger.
He married Emily J. Hatton on July 17, 1954 in Aspinwall.
Surviving are his wife; four children, David S. (Sandy) of Tipton, Cynthia J. (Al) Rombola
of Horsham, Debra E. (Vince) D’Imperio of Orefield, and John W. of Tipton; and ten grandchildren, Nichole and Meghan Deininger, Kristen (Matthew)Rombola Cohen, Matthew, Andrew and Michael Rombola, Alyssa (Andrew) Schmiedel, Vincent, Christopher and David D’Imperio.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Garris and Barbara Frederick.
Bill was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired as director of information and financial service at PPG Industries, Tipton after 41 years of service. Bill was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Bellwood. He formerly served as secretary/treasurer of Sinking Valley Country Club.
Bill loved golfing, bowling, yardwork, and playing cards. He was an avid Penn State, Pittsburgh Steeler and Pittsburgh Penguin fan. Bill enjoyed vacationing with his family at the Outer Banks and especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

To honor Bill’s wishes, funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
The family suggests that contributions in his memory be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
