William Walk Feb. 11, 1928 – Sept. 23, 2019 William Walk, 91, Bellwood went home to be with his Lord early Monday morning September 23, 2019 at Maybrook Hills Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona. He was born February 11, 1928 in Coalport, son of the late David RP. And Sivilla (Gillen) Walk. On Sept. 28, 1951, he married Helen E. Barr in Winchester, Va. Surviving are his beloved wife of 67 years; two sons, Ronald L. and George A. (Elizabeth) both of Bellwood; two daughters, Marilyn (Don) Boytim of Tyrone and Karen (Richard) Sinisi of Altoona;11 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four sons, infant Bill, Gerald L. “Bog”, William R. “Woody”, and David J. Bill was a US Army veteran serving during World War II and he retired as a carman at Conrail, Altoona. He was a member of Covenant Community Church, Bellwood and he enjoyed fishing. Friends will be received from 6 to 8pm Weds., Sept. 25, 2019 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood and 10 to 11am Thurs., Sept. 26, 2019 at Covenant Community Church, Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday at the church, Pastor Joshua Crumlich officiating. Interment will be at Antis Cemetery, Antis Township.
