Jean M. Belinski, 83, of Bethlehem, entered eternal life, Thursday, June 28, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlemberg. She was the wife of the Late Richard Boligitz who passed away in 1976. In1982 she married Walter Belinski, who passed away in 2000. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Marie (Henry) Pursell. A graduate of Bethlehem Catholic H. S. Class of 1952 and later graduated from Northampton Community College. She was the first person inducted into Bethlehem Catholic's Academic Hall of Fame in 1999. She was a teacher in the Allentown Diocese for many years, teaching at Sacred Heart, St. Simon & Jude and Holy Infancy Elementary Schools and also directed CYO One Act Plays for over 35 years. She served on the alumni board of Northampton Community College several years, Bethlehem Area School District school board from 1995-1997, served on Bethlehem City Council from 1998-2014 and hosted a call in radio program on WGPA. Jean also ran as the Patriot Party Candidate for Mayor of Bethlehem in 1993 and served on the South Bethlehem Historical Society Board. She was a member of Sts. Simon and Jude Church, Bethlehem.

Survivors: Jean is survived by her son Richard Boligitz with whom she resided; daughters, Barbara Boligitz; Anne Adams (James) all of Bethlehem; sisters, Rosalie Zsilavetz (Louis Sr.) of Bethlehem; Marie Carroll (Thomas) of Phoenixville, nieces and nephews.
