<p> Rose J. (Borghi) Magdasy, who celebrated her 100th birthday on December 7, 2018, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019. Rosie was the widow of William Magdasy, who passed away November 15, 2015. </p><p><br></p><p> Rosie was a 1937 graduate of Liberty High School. After high school, she worked as a bookkeeper in the offices of Charas in Allentown, and later as a seamstress at Alice Kay Shop, Allentown. Rosie was a member and officer of the Saucon Valley Ladies Club/Bethlehem Steel Club in the 1970's and 1980's. She was a gifted and talented seamstress, as well as a phenomenal baker and cook. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Miller Heights.</p><p><br></p><p> Rosie was a truly giving person and always put her family and their needs before her own.</p><p><br></p><p> Survivors: Rosie is survived by her daughters, Jane E. Shaxted of Palmer Twp.; Jill E. Mittl (Stephen J. Jr.) of Wyomissing; brother, Richard Borghi of Las Vegas, NV; and a grandson and his family in Virginia. She will be missed by her family and so many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlo and Anna Borghi, brothers, Edward, Joseph, John, Angelo and Louis.</p><p><br></p><p> Services: Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to James Funeral Home, Bethlehem.</p><p><br></p><p> Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Luke's Hospice House, C/O Development Office, 801 Ostrum Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015 would be appreciated.</p><p><br></p>
