George Baylor

George Henry Baylor, 86, passed away on May 6, 2017 at Brookmount Health Care Center, Effort PA. Born on July 13, 1930 in Ledgewood, NJ, son of the late Mary (Harter) Baylor and George H. Baylor. George honorably served in the United States Air Force from1948-1950. Former longtime resident of Morris Plains NJ, he worked as a mechanical engineer for Greystone Psychiatric Hospital. He was a master of all trades and took great pride in all of his works. George was a proud member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Brodheadsville PA. He had great faith and we have been blessed with his presence in our lives. George was preceded by his loving and faithful wife Ruth Marie (Light) Baylor. He will be deeply missed by his daughters Norma Jean Baylor of Dover NJ; Margaret Shelton of Hemet CA; Diane Vadala of Whitehouse Station NJ; loving Grandfather of Desiree Lee Lewis of Dover NJ; Jason L. Shelton of Oregon; Anthony Marcus Vadala of Belvedere NJ; Amy M. Vadala-Nauer and husband Brian Nauer of Whitehouse Station NJ. George was also blessed to be surrounded by a loving support network of dear friends. Family & friends are welcome to share in condolences at his services Saturday June 3, 2017, 3-6pm at Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Rt. 209 Brodheadsville PA 18322.
