Mary Bianco

Mary Bianco, 99, of Saylorsburg, passed away on Saturday, April 15 in her home. She was the wife of the late Louis Bianco. Born in Staten Island, NY she was a daughter of the late Carlo and Chiara (Noviello) Fumando. She was one of twelve children - eight boys and four girls. She had worked as a seamstress at various garment factories in Staten Island and New York City for thirty five years, retiring in 1965. Mary was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Staten Island. She was a member of the Altar Guild and the Women's Auxiliary for the Boy Scout Troop at St. Michaels. She was also a member of the P.T.A. Mary is survived by her son, Frank Bianco of Saylorsburg; a daughter, Mary DiLeo of Delhi, NY; two brothers, Santo Fumando of Staten Island and Carlo Fumando of Bonita Springs, FL; a sister, Angela Fumando of Staten Island; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:15 AM from St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church in Staten Island. Entombment will follow in Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island. The Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, is in charge of local arrangements. www.kresgefuneralhome.com
