Frank R. (Funch) Grahek, Jr. age 85 of Uniontown, PA and formerly of Brownsville, PA died Wednesday February 29, 2012 at his home, after a long battle with leukemia. He was born on March 31, 1926 in Merrittstown, PA. Son of the late Frank R. Grahek, Sr. and Helen Marcus Grahek. He worked for Vesta # 5 Coal Mine He was a member of the UMWA Lifetime member of the Brownsville Sportsman Club He enjoyed Sunday Flea Markets with his Brother Steve He was an avid, admired gardener and loved to watch the Steelers’ He is survived by his wife: Janet M. Kanar Grahek He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children: Daughter: Paulette Beatty and husband Bud Pam Rose and husband Lenny who was Frank’s best friend Son: Frank Grahek and wife Chris Stepchildren: Daine Mrazek and Jim Andrew Mrazek 7 Grandchildren: Bud and Brian Beatty Danna and Stephanie Vegoda Brandon, Jocelyn and Jamie Grahek 15 Great Grandchildren Brother: Steve Grahek and wife Hazel Thomas Grahek Sister: Clara Leonard Predeceased by Brothers: Willie, George and Johnny Grahel Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park St. Brownsville, PA on Sunday from 2 – 9PM. Where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00AM with Pastor Lillian Sparks officiating. Interment Lafayette Memorial Park.
