Roselyn Crouse

Roselyn Boxe Crouse, 96, of Camp Hill, formerly of Lewistown, and Williamsport, passed away on Monday November 29, 2010 at Holy Spirit Hospital. Born on May 26, 1914 in South Fork, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Elizabeth (Wagstaff) Boxe and was the widow of Lt. Col. J. Carl Crouse, US Army Ret., who passed away in March of 1979. She was a graduate of the Lewistown High School, Class of 1931. She was a member of the Camp Hill United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Carlynn E. Crouse, of Camp Hill; a sister, Janice Boxe Bearly, of Enola; three nieces, Carole Boxe Miller, of Greencastle; Linda Boxe Walters, of Mifflintown; and Janice Boxe Smith, of Annville. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert M. Boxe and John W. Boxe. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Lind Memorial Cemetery, Lewistown, PA. There will be no viewing or visitation. Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill is handling funeral arrangements. On-line condolences will be received at myers-harner.com. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the “Ecumenical Food Pantry,” C/O Camp Hill Untied Methodist Church, 417 South 22nd St., Camp Hill, PA 17011.
