Betty J. Ewan, 92, of Chambersburg, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Paramount Senior Living. Born July 5, 1928, in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of Charles A. and Edna B. Garns Ewan Cline. Betty was employed at the former Stanley Company for 23 years until her retirement in 1987. Later in her life, Betty provided in home care for several elderly people. She was a member of Grand Point Church in Chambersburg and enjoyed decorating her house. Her family was everything to her and she loved taking care of them and spending time with them. She is survived by two children, Gregory Ewan and Michelle Bachman, both of Chambersburg; two grandsons, Chad and Tyler Ewan; two step-grandchildren, J.R. and Krystyn Bumbaugh; and four great grandchildren, Blake, Camden, Rylan and Tenleigh Ewan. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by two siblings, Anna Margaret Cook and William E. Ewan. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
