Gary P. Bracken, Sr., 70, of Orrstown, PA, passed away Monday morning, October 2, 2017 at Shippensburg HealthCare Center. Born May 16, 1947 in Culver, PA, he was a son of the late Mailon and Mary Cubeta Bracken. Gary served in Vietnam with the US Army and was employed for many years at Letterkenny Army Depot. He retired from New Cumberland Army Depot on September 2, 1999. He was a life member of the VFW in Shippesnburg and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping, and riding four wheelers. He is survived by his wife, Barbara D. Kelley Bracken, whom he married April 20, 1991; his daughter, Barbara Sue Bracken of York, PA; his son Gary P. Bracken, Jr. and wife Shelley of Waynesboro; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Bonita Hancock of Chambersburg and Janet Naugle of Fayetteville. Services and interment will be private.
