James R. 'Jimmy Woo' Walushka, 75, of Clearfield died on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois. He was born on November 2, 1945 in Clearfield, a son of the late George and Mary (Sheposh) Walushka. Mr. Walushka was a self-employed painter. He enjoyed watching baseball, football and NASCAR and loved Penn State sports. He was a member of St. Francis Church, Clearfield. Mr. Walushka was also a former member of the Clearfield American Legion. Mr. Walushka served with the U. S. Army National Guard from 1964 to 1970. He is survived by two sisters, Helen Karrer of Virginia Beach, VA and Dorothy O'Conner of Athens; two brothers, Peter Walushka of Wellsboro, and John Walushka of Clearfield; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Jane Beach and Stella O'Dell. A service will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 2 PM in the chapel at Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield. Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield is in charge of arrangements.
