Richard Miles O’Neill, 80, of Guthriesville died Saturday, August 3, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Corrine Rambo O’Neill, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Richard J. and Catherine Southern O’Neill. He served our country as a Marine during the Korean conflict. Richard was employed by Beloit Eastern, Autocar Trucks and retired from American LaFrance. He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, the LGM Lodge #193, the V.F.W. and the East Brandywine Fire Company. Surviving him, in addition to his wife, Corrine; are six children, Dennis (Kathleen) O’Neill; Rosanne (Martin) Boylan; John (Joanna) O’Neill; Judith O’Neill; Joanne (Thomas) Christman; and James (Margaret) O’Neill; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and two sisters, Nancy Denithorne and Dolores Wortley. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Kyle R. O’Neill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 80 S. 17th Avenue, Coatesville, where family and friends may call beginning at 9:15 a.m. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville.
