Charles M. "Bud" Wolf

CHARLES M. “BUD” WOLF, 93 of Pylesville, MD died on Wednesday, January 24, 2019 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, MD. Married on April 14, 1950, he was the beloved husband of Jean (Dawson) Wolf for 68 years. Born on December 3, 1925 in East Berlin, PA, he was a son of the late John G. and Elizabeth Mae (Gettys) Wolf. A love for the Lord, Charles was a member of Delta Methodist Church. For several years, he worked with his father on their farm before moving on to work for Maryland State Highway Administration for 28 years, retiring in 1988. Fond of the Olde Tyme Days in Fawn Grove, Charles enjoyed going to dances and auctions. Some of his favorite pastimes were word search and hunting. Dedicated to his community, he was a Citizens V. F. C. Auxiliary member, Fawn Grove, PA. He is also survived by; Daughter, Mary Beth Wolf and companion, Eric Adams of White Hall, MD Many nieces and nephews He is preceded in death by his brother, Junior Wolf. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street Delta, PA 17314 followed immediately by the funeral service. Interment will be held at Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta, PA. Funeral staff will be assisting with parking and handicap needs during the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Citizens V. F. C. Auxiliary, 171 South Market Street, Fawn Grove, PA 17321.
