MILDRED MARIE MCCALLISTER, 88, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Citizen's Care Center in Havre de Grace, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer Sanders McCallister and son, Gary Lee McCallster. Born on January 10, 1929 in Peach Bottom Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Nelson Clarence and Ethel Pauline Cooper. . Mildred’s memory is cherished by: Five children: Sandra Fletcher of Colora, MD Richard McCallister and his wife Tammy of Rising Sun, MD David McCallister of Rising Sun, MD Deborah Timmons and her husband Butch of Havre de Grace, MD Dennis McCallister of Aberdeen, MD Two siblings Rodman Cooper of Elizabethtown, PA and Betty Kitts of Street, MD Six grandchildren Heather, Tammy, Josh, Beckie, Heater, Preston Two great-grandchildren Rachel and Fletcher A viewing will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA 17314 where the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Beth Holz of the Peach Bottom Charge officiating. Interment will be in Mount Nebo Cemetery, Delta, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances in Mildred’s name can be sent to Amedisys Hospice, 260 Gateway Dr, Bel Air, MD 21014 or Citizens Care Center, 415 Market St., Havre de Grace, MD 21078 Funeral staff will be outside during all services to assist with parking as well as handicap needs.
