PEGGY J. DICK, 77 years of Brogue, PA, died on Thursday, March 30, 2017. Married 37 years, she was the loving wife of the late James Lester Dick who passed in 1994. Born on February 24, 1940 in York, PA, Peggy was a daughter of the late Hazel Crouse. Peggy was devoted to her family. She was a loving mother who always looked after her family’s needs, fussing over the wellbeing of others before herself. Peggy enjoyed keeping neat lawns and landscapes for her neighbors. For many years, she also sang in a bluegrass band, the Bald Eagle Express, with her husband, and they were extremely proud to have recorded one album. Peggy will be forever remembered for her sweet, quiet spirit. She is survived by: Three sons- Lester Phillip Dick and his wife, Carolyn of Sunnyburn, PA Michael Allen Dick of Brogue, PA Danny James Dick of Delta, PA Three granddaughters- Julia Lyn Harrison and her husband, Casey Angela Marie Dick Kayla Michelle Dick Four great granddaughters- Kirsten Harrison Alyssa Harrison Katie Harrison Sarah Harrison One sister- Bonnie Gene The Dick Family will receive relatives and friends on Easter Sunday 2 to 6 p.m. in Danny’s home, 2464 Bryansville Rd. Delta, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Michael A. Dick, Peggy’s longtime care giver, and mailed to Harkins Funeral Home, PO Box 485, Delta, PA. 17314.
