Kimberly J Burdge

Kimberly J. Burdge, age 48, of East Waterford, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born December 15, 1967, in Lewistown, PA, she was the daughter of Mary Burdge and the late David Burdge.

A 1985 graduate of Juniata High School, Kim went on to serve in the U.S. Navy in 1989 – 1990, when she was medically discharged. She was currently employed as a configuration manager for the last 17 years at Leidos in Chambersburg. She was a member of the Dry Run Legion Post 232. She enjoyed spending time with her son, riding horses, fishing, playing billiards, riding four wheelers, and being with family and friends.

In addition to her mother, Kim is survived by her son, Logan Mellott; her fiancé, Matt Brown; three siblings, Kevin Burdge (wife Kerry) of Carlisle, PA, Kirk Burdge of East Waterford, PA, Katina Wileman (husband Randy) of Orrstown, PA; and a nephew, Kinsley Burdge.

Funeral services will be held at the Agett – Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main St., Dry Run, PA on Monday, December 28, 2015, at 1 PM, where Rev. Judy Rowles will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Upper Tuscarora Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
