Obituary for Dorina V. Shramko

Dorina V. Shramko, 80, of Fountain Hill, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 21, 2010, in the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's in Lower Saucon Twp. She was the loving wife of Joseph F. Shramko. They would have been married for 59 years in August. Born in Reggio Calabria, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary (D'Agostino) Faillone. Dorina worked as a seamstress for various factories in the Lehigh Valley for many years, until her retirement and was a member of the ILGWU. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Pompeii Church and currently a member of St. Ursula Catholic Church in Fountain Hill. Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her husband at home; daughters Diane Zelko and her husband Tom, JoAnn M. Waverka and her husband Mark all of Bethlehem, Patti M. Bradley and her husband Robert of Center Valley and Mary Ann M. Nelson and her husband Todd of Bettendorf, IA; son Richard J. Shramko of Bethlehem; sister Della DeLazaro; brother Joseph Faillone and his wife Pat all of Fountain Hill. Dorina was also survived by 9 grandchildren Ashley, Kara, Aubrie, Drew, Taylor, Tori, Anthony, Baleigh and Matthew. Services: Friday June 25, 2010, 9:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ursula's Catholic Church, 1300 Broadway Fountain Hill. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 7-8:30pm and Friday from 8:15-9:15am in the Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill. Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Memorials: in lieu of flowers, to the church. Online condolences may be made at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com
