Dorothy M. Ney, 86, died in her home on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. Born in Pottsville, Pa, she was the loving daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Knoblach) Thornton and wife of the late Harry G. Ney. She was employed by the Bethlehem Area School District in both Steven's and Fountain Hill Elementary Schools for many years. She was also employed as a waitress by the Fountain Hill American Legion. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grand children and was very proud of all of them. Survivors: Dot is survived by her four children; Barbara Deily her husband Joseph of Fountain Hill, James and Aileen Ney of Quakertown, Katheen Ney and her husband David Amil of Fountain Hill, and Christine Ney of Allentown.
