Marie L. Garin, 76, of Fountain Hill, died Monday, June 14, 2010, in Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the loving wife of Richard A. Garin for 53 years. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Marie (McFadden) Smith. Marie worked as a teacher for 32 years at the former St. John Capistrano and Ss. Cyril & Methodius Schools in Bethlehem. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Pompeii Church and currently a member of St. Ursula Church in Fountain Hill. Marie loved to sing. She sang in the choir at church, the Liberty High School Alumni Choir, and also in the Bach Choir. She was a volunteer for Musikfest and enjoyed making beautiful handmade jewelry. Survivors: husband Richard at home; daughter Marie C. Werner and her husband Wayne E. of Coopersburg; son Richard A. Garin, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Whitehall; granddaughter Renee E. Garin of S. Whitehall Twp. She was predeceased by her brother Cary R. Smith. Services: 10am Mass of Christian Burial on Friday June 18, 2010 at St. Ursula Catholic Church, 1300 Broadway Fountain Hill. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 7-8:30pm and Friday from 8:30-9:30am at Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill.
