Mary Jo DeLazaro, 70, of Fountain Hill, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 in Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Anthony DeLazaro and Della (Faillone) DeLazaro of Bethlehem. Mary Jo worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corp., where she did clerical work for many years, until retiring. She was a member of St. Ursula Catholic Church and was a member of the former Our Lady of Pompeii Church and its Holy Rosary Sodality. She was a NY Yankees fan and also enjoyed bowling. Survivors: In addition to her mother, are sister, Dorothy DeLazaro; Uncle Joe and Aunt Pat Faillone and Uncle Joe Schramko all of Fountain Hill; she is also survived by many cousins and her two cats, Spunky and Mitzy. She was predeceased by her aunt, Dorina Schramko. Services: 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday May 21, in St. Ursula Catholic Church, 1300 Broadway Fountain Hill, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church. Interment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, to the Center for Animal Welfare. Mary Jos arrangements are entrusted to Cantelmi Funeral Home,Fountain Hill.
