When I first heard of Ricky’s passing I was first saddened and then began to think of nothing but fond memories of him. I remember as a kid when we were growing up his showing me all the best fishing spots along the Lehigh River and Freemansburg Canal. I remember walking home from the bus stop after graduating from the Marine Corps in the middle of the night and Ricky pulling over to give me a ride home. It seems like all my memories of Ricky are of times when I could use a hand and there was Ricky ready and willing to help out. Ricky may no longer be with us in flesh but he will always be with me in his spirit. Ricky is by definition a true brother not only to his family but to us all. There are two biblical versus that I think of with Ricky’s passing that I believe Ricky would remind us of right now. They are: Matthew 6:14 – For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly father will also forgive you. Matthew 7:2 – For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. In Ricky’s memory I will extend his presence by reaching out to my brothers as did he until my day comes to pass on as it will one day occur for all of us. Rest in Peace Ricky, Frank J. Plummer
