Albert W. Kagel, Jr, 89 of Ridley Twp, Folsom, PA, died Wednesday April 29, 2020 in the Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, PA. Born in Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Albert W. Kagel, Sr. and the late Leona (Wassmer) Kagel. Al lived in Folsom for the past 35 years coming from Crum Lynne, PA. He served during the Korean war in the United Sates Air Force. . Al retired as a Police Sargent, with the Ridley Township Police Department. He was a member of St. John’s Chrysostom Church, Wallingford, PA. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Peace Council 4518, American Legion Post 777, Ridley Twp Police Association and Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 27. Survived by his wife: Elizabeth J. (Woyda) Kagel and his sons, Charles (Carol) Kagel and David (Kathleen) Kagel. His sister Joyce Wilson and his brother James Kagel. Also survived by six grandchildren Alison, Kelsey, Maura, Devin, Kevin, Brian and his Great Grandson Aiden. . Due to the current restrictions, services will be privately held.
