In Memory Anthony J. Bressi. Sr. Tony was born on September 8, 1932 in Mt. Carmel, Pa. He was a graduate of the Class of 1950 from Mt. Carmel High School. He served as a Master Sargent in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He served as a volunteer fireman and fire police officer for the Borough of Ridley Park. In 1963, Tony began an insurance career with National Life Insurance Co/American General Insurance Co until he retired to Florida in 1995. While in Florida he was an active member of the Masonic Royal Palm Lodge 100, where he was elected Grand Master. Tony was also a member of the Shriners and was known as "Ynot" in the Kookie Clowns division. In 2015, he returned to reside in Lancaster, Pa. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Bressi nee Culbertson, six children Anthony (Tony) Bressi, Jr, Cindi Bressi Forster (Herb Forster), David Bressi (Sandra Wilson Bressi), Bonnie Bressi Novelli, (Victor Novelli), Michele Bressi Louden, Anita Bressi Cottom, (Clyde Cottom), his brother Joseph Bressi (Dorothy Bressi), 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and 11 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be Saturday January 25, 2020, 11am-12 noon at the Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Service 202 S. Chester Pk Glenolden, PA 19036 followed by his Masonic Service at 12:00 Pm Interment private.
