Anthony Chiaverini

Anthony J. Chiaverini, Jr., 74, of Glenolden, PA, died peacefully, on Saturday September 16, 2017 in the Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, Darby, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Anthony J. and the late Irene (Moffa) Chiaverini, Sr. For the past forty years, Anthony enjoyed his profession as a barber. He was recently employed by Curl Up Or Dye Salon in King of Prussia and Secane Station Barber Shop. He helped the homeless through City Team Ministries in Chester by donating his expert barber services. Anthony enjoyed life and loved spending time with his family. For the past thirty years he was an active member of the Knobbys, Sammar Strutters and Wild Rovers Brigage in the Philadelphia Mummers Parade. Anthony is predeceased by his sister Rita Chiaverini and is survived by his wife, Loretta (nee Marchese) Chiaverini and his three sons: Anthony Chiaverini III, Joseph Chiaverini, daughter-in- law Kristen (nee Verity) and son Nicholas Chiaverini. He is also survived by his four beautiful granddaughters, Brianna, Emma, Isabella, and Ava. A funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 22 at 10:00 am at Saint Francis Of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Ave, Springfield. Pa. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 9pm at Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Service, 202 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden, PA and Friday from 9 to 10am at Saint Francis Of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Ave, Springfield, PA Interment private In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anthony’s name to the Mummers Museum,1100 South 2nd Street and Washington Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19147 Online condolences and memories may be placed on www.lyonsfs.com
