Daniel Joseph Harley, 84 of Prospect Park, PA, died Sunday December 30, 2012 in the Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, PA.. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Daniel and the late Florence ( nee Jennings) Harley. Dan was a long time resident of Ridley Twp. until recently moving to Prospect Park. He served during the Korean war in the US Army . He was a retired house painter, employed by John H. Benner, Co. He was an Indy car enthusiast and an avid gardener Dan was pre- deceased by his son Daniel Jay Harley He is survived by his wife of 46 years Marcella ( nee Clardy) Harley five daughters: Barbara Catona, Gerry McIntire, Anita ( Walter) Armstead., Karen Harley, Linda ( Michael) Gray a sister: Marie Moore 5 grandchildren, Caroline Sappington, Jeffrey Catona, Jonathan Hennessy, Timothy Armstead and Brian Hennessy ; 2 Great Grandchildren Anthony and Nicholas Catona.
