David Roberts

David W. Roberts, Sr., 84 of Glen Mills, PA, died Thursday Feb 23,2017 in the Taylor Hospice, Ridley Park, PA. Born in Folcroft, PA, he was the son of the late Jesse and the late Jean (O'Neil) Roberts. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was an Owner-Operator at Delco Air Freight, after working at Scott Paper in Chester, PA He resided in Maris Grove for the past 5 years coming from Ridley Twp.. He was a member of Maris Grove Penn State Club, Ridley Twp Republican Organization. He was devoted to his family especially watching his grandchildren in sports and Theatre. He loved all Philadelphia Sports but was devoted to the Phillies and enjoyed several trips to Clearwater with his wife for spring training. Predeceased by his loving wife Dorothy Verratti Roberts Two brothers Thomas and Lewis. Survived by three sons: David W. (Lisa) Roberts, Jr of Richmond, VA, Dennis (Teresa) Roberts of Capemay Court House, NJ and Dean Roberts of Ridley Twp, PA, Brothers John, Jesse and his twin Donald Roberts, Brother In Law, Robert (Kathleen) Verratti 4 grandchildren, Dennis Jr, Elizabeth, Sarah and Jace.
