1930-2018 Donald E Roeder, Sr., 88 of Glenolden, PA, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday May 12, 2018. Born in Catawissa, PA, he was the youngest of 6 to the late Raymond and Carrie (Adams) Roeder. Don was a resident of Glenolden for the past 55yrs coming from Catawissa. He served during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. While his profession was primarily a window cleaner for Dawn Window Cleaners, his greatest joy was carpentry work performed at J.E. Mitchell Lumber Co. Predeceased by his granddaughter, Jessica Roeder, and daughter-in-law, Susan Roeder. Survived by his wife: Barbara (Utt) Roeder, daughter, Linda Conover (James) and son, Donald E Roeder,Jr., 5 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
