Dorothy F. Diamond, (nee Spina, Fay) of Middletown, PA. Lifelong Delaware County resident, died Thursday January 5,2017. Dorothy formerly resided in Aston, Chichester, Ridley Park and Crum Lynne. She was raised and lived in Crum Lynne for 52 years. In her early years, she worked at Baldwin Locomotive in Eddystone. Dorothy was a homemaker, Mother who always put her family above all. She enjoyed spending time with her friends playing cards and various other games and spending time in Cape May, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Ellen Fay Dolan and John Dolan of Crum Lynne. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the biological daugnter of the late Vincent Spina and the late Rose Maida. Dorothy Diamond was a member of American Legion Post 777 Ladies Auxiliary in Crum Lynne for the past 58 years serving in various positions including President. She enjoyed cooking, pets and the Phillies. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Raymond F. Diamond and her grandson Gary W. Diamond Jr. Survived by three loving sons: Raymond J.(Elaine) Diamond of Aston, PA, Joseph F (Deborah) Diamond of Millsboro, De., and Gary W. (Kellie) Diamond of Avondale, Pa., 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, Nieces and nephews.
