Dorothy F. Mc Nicholas, 87 of Ridley Twp, Swarthmore, PA., died Thursday May 22, 2014 in her home. Born in Eddystone, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Frances (Feeley) Corcoran. Dorothy resided in Ridley Twp. for 87 years. She was an Administrative Assistant, employed by Delaware County Court House in the Adult Probation Office. She was a member of Notre Dame deLourdes Church. Dot enjoyed cooking, her crossword puzzles but most of all spending time with her family. Predeceased by her husband John J. McNicholas, Jr.; three brothers Joseph, William and John Corcoran and two sisters Marie Davis and Kathleen Mease. Survived by two sons: Jack (Maryann) McNicholas III, Bill McNicholas, three daughters: Karen (the late John) Stanley, Cindy (the late Joseph) Colonna and Dottie McNicholas. Three sisters: Sr. Karen Marie Corcoran, IHM, Nancy Stern, Agnes McNamara. Eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral Mass Friday at 10:30 am at Notre Dame deLourdes, Fairview Rd. & Michigan Ave., Swarthmore. Friends may call Friday from 9-10:15am at Notre Dame deLourdes Church. Burial: Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
