Dorothy M. " Dotty" Rettzo, age 91, was taken into Christ’s loving arms on February 13, 2015. Dotty was one of eight children born to John and Mary Bobby on July 10, 1923 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and was the widow of Joseph Rettzo. She was a kind, loving, generous and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Dotty worked at the Delaware County Courthouse in Media for 39 years and was the Administrative Secretary to the late John F. McNichol, Director of Data Processing. She was also the Past President of the Ridley Township Women’s Republican Club and the Past Assistant Treasurer of the Delaware County Women’s Republican Club. She is survived by: Her two Children: Joyce Byrd of Ridley Township and Bernard Rettzo of Chandler Arizona; three Grandchildren: Cindy Byrd McLaughlin, Elizabeth Rettzo Quiroz and Michael Rettzo; seven Great Grandchildren: Sean McLaughlin, Ryan McLaughlin, Jason McLaughlin, Abigail Quiroz, Christopher Quiroz, Sofia Quiroz and Tristan Rettzo; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 9am at St Rose of Lima, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022. Funeral Mass immediately following at 10am.
