1924-2017 Elizabeth D Ward, 92 of Ridley Twp, Morton, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday January 16, 2017 in the Crozer Keystone Hospice at Taylor Hospital, Ridley Park, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and the late Elizabeth (Tracy) McCallum. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and Catholic Social Services. Elizabeth graduated from West Catholic Girls High School in 1942. She was married for 59 years to her husband, Gene, the love of her life. She enjoyed time with family, vacations in Cape May, Phillies games, and square dancing. She sang with the U.S.O. during World War II. Betty cared lovingly for her husband in his final years, and was cared for lovingly by her son, Gene Jr, in hers. She had a compassionate & generous heart and her wonderful laugh and sense of humor will be missed by all. Predeceased by her husband Eugene J. Ward, Sr. and her sisters Virginia Finch, Nancy Filson, and Joan Reigle. She is survived by her children Betty (Harry) Collinson, Eugene Ward, Jr. and Thomas (Nicole) Ward. Sister, Barbara Bata and brother Joseph Bata. Grandchildren Chris Collinson, Matt Collinson, Lauren Ward, Christina Azarian, Natalia Azarian. Great Grandchildren Danny, Sean, Ethan, Luke and Grace Collinson, her cousin Lois Rogers, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass Saturday January 21, 2017 at 10:00 am at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church, Amosland Road, Morton. Friends may call Saturday from 9-10 am at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church, Inurnment Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Mothers’ Home 51 N.
