1917-2016 Francis C. Doyle, Sr, 99 of Ridley Twp., Folsom, PA, died Sunday December 25, 2016 in his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Frank J and the late Emma (Somers) Doyle. He was a resident of Folsom for 64 years. He was an active member of Chambers Memorial Presbyterian Church, Rutledge, PA. Schoolhouse Senior Center, Folsom. Ridley Twp Swim Club, Charter Member #33.and F&AM Springfield- Hanby Lodge #767 Frank served during World War II in the Navy as a Machinist Mate First Class on PT Boats. He was commissioned to the Panama Canal, South Pacific, Milne Bay, Kana Kopa and New Guinea. He was a Tractor Trailer Driver, employed by Abbotts Dairy. Predeceased by his first wife Martina Doyle. Survived by his wife: Mary Waltz-Doyle, one daughter: Caroline L. Lindauer of Lewes, DE and one son: Francis C. Doyle, Jr of Ocean View, DE 3 grandchildren, ; 4 great grandchildren, Funeral service will be held Friday December 30, 10:30 am at Chambers Memorial Presbyterian Church, Sylvan & Morton Aves., Rutledge Friends may call Friday from 9-10:30am at Chambers Memorial Presbyterian Church, Interment Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill.
