Frederick H. Burns, Jr., 58 of, Glenolden, PA, died Monday June 5, 2017 in the Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, Darby, PA. Grew up in Collingdale, PA, he was the son of the Janet (Partridge) Burns and the late Frederick H. Burns Sr. He was a Purchasing Manager for E.F. Precision Group, Willow Grove, PA Fred had a huge heart and loved his family. He will remembered as a loving father, husband, son, brother, uncle, coach and friend. He was a die hard Philadelphia sports fan. Graduated from Collingdale High school (1976) where he excelled playing football for the Bulldogs. Survived by his wife: Margaret B. (McGuire) Burns and his three sons Frederick H Burns III (Kristi) Jim Burns and Timmy Burns, and his granddaughter Aubrey Mae Burns. Fred is also survived by his mother Janet (Partridge) Burns, three brothers, William (Patricia), Kenneth (Kathy) and Paul Burns (Mary) and many nieces and nephews, Funeral Mass Monday June 12,at 10:30 am at Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1101 Main St., Darby,PA Friends may call Sunday from 6-8pm at Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Service, 202 S. Chester Pk, Glenolden, PA and Monday from 9-10:15am at Blessed Virgin Mary Church Interment will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall.
