Gregory J. Favano, Sr., 68, Springfield, PA., died Saturday August 24,2019 at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Elizabeth (Cona) Favano. He was a lifelong resident of Springfield and member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Morton. He attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help grade school, Cardinal O’Hara high school and Villanova University. He worked at Boeing as an accountant for many years. Greg was a dedicated father. In addition, he was a fan of watching Villanova Wildcats. Greg enjoyed playing chess, listening to music, playing the guitar, going to his Rehoboth beach house and loved his sweets. He enjoyed the time spent with his children, grandchildren, friends and especially with his wife Ann. Predeceased by his parents and his son, Paul Duffy. Survived by his wife: Ann (Duffy) Favano, his children Gregory J. Favano. Gina (Gerty Tonjum) Favano, Diana Fischer, Stephanie Favano and Elizabeth Favano Grandchildren Angelina Fischer, Vincent Fischer and Isabelle Grace Favano. Visitation Friday, August 30,2019, from 9-10:45am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave, Morton, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon.
