1921-2018 Harry J. McKinney, 96 of Warminster, PA, died Thursday in his home at Ann’s Choice Retirement Community. Born in Chester, PA, he was the son of the late William H and the late Helen (Ferguson) McKinney. He served during World War II in the Army from 9/8/42 to 2/14/1946. Harry also lived in Brookhaven, PA and Little Gap, PA. He was a mechanical engineer at Westinghouse Electric, General Steel, Sun Ship and DuPont. His accomplishments included projects such as Baldwin locomotive engines and the passenger liner, the SS United States. His hobbies included woodworking and genealogy. Predeceased by his Wife of 50 years, Betty Jane Witmer McKinney, and Son, Mark A. McKinney, Sr. Survived by three daughters: Carol Ann McKinney, Janice L McKinney and Nancy Jane (McKinney) Cross, 5 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren Graveside service and burial will be at 10:30am Tuesday, January 16 at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, 352 S. Gulph Rd, King of Prussia, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to Fisher House Foundation, supporting military families and veterans, fisherhouse.org. Arrangements Kevin M.
