Helene V. Snyder, 86 of Darby, PA, died Sunday, July 3, 2016 in the Little Flower Manor Nursing Home, Darby, PA. Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late John S. and the late Dorothy (Bishop) Woods. Helene spent the last 20 years in Woodlyn, PA. She was a retired School Bus Driver, employed by Boston School District. Helene was member of the Red Hat Society. She was a parishioner at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church where she sang in the Choir and was a member of the Notre Dame Players Club. She owned an Ice Cream Truck in Boston called the Bostonian. She also played the Ukulele and loved spending time with her family. She is predeceased by her loving husband James L. Snyder. Her Sons; William and Thomas Snyder. Sister, Dorothy M. Juliano. Survived by her daughter: Helene L. (Joe) Baker and sons: John M. Snyder, James S. Snyder; 5 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren. Family and Friends are invited to attend her visitation Tuesday July 12, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:00AM at Little Flower Manor Nursing Home Chapel, 1201 Springfield Rd, Darby, PA. Mass will be Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 10:00AM at Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Dorchester MA. Interment Wednesday at Massachusetts National Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers family request memorial donations be sent in Helene’s name to Little Flower Manor, 1201 Springfield Rd. Darby, PA 19023. Funeral Arrangements made by Kevin M.
