James E. O’Doherty age 82 James E. O’Doherty passed away July 3, 2014. Beloved husband of Marilyn O’Doherty for 56 years Born and raised in Glenolden he was a resident of Folcroft for over 56 years. He graduated from St James High School and attended LaSalle University. He was a Navy veteran serving four years as a radioman during the Korean war. He was a fourth degree Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus at the Marian Council 3753. He coached baseball and football for the Glenolden Boys Club for the 65 75 and 95 pound teams. He worked as an auditor for Equifax and AV&S for over 35 years. He was self employed starting Langer and Associates of Pa. He was an avid Flyers, Phillies and NASCAR fan. He is survived by his wife Marilyn of 56 years and his sons James O’Doherty, Michael O’Doherty, Brian O’Doherty, Timothy O’Doherty, his daughter Colleen DiOrio and nine grandchildren.
