Joan G. (nee Grayson) Lapish, 81 Of Ridley Twp., Crum Lynne, PA Joan G. (nee Grayson) Lapish, 81, died Monday August 13, 2012 in the Hospital University Of PA, Philadelphia, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Renzie and the late Eunice (Slinn) Grayson. Joan graduated from John Bartram High School and Delaware County Community College. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary American Legion F. A. Scott Post 777, Crum Lynne,PA. Joan was loving and devoted to her family. She retired as a Medical Secretary with Crozer Chester Medical Center for 25 years. Pre-deceased by her daughter Shirley Boylan and her son-in-law James Byron Jr. Survived by her husband Charles "Rebel" Lapish Sr.; her children Joanne Sullivan of DE, Wayne Boylan of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Glenn Boylan of West Chester, PA, USMC Ret. Charles Lapish Jr. of Arlington, VA, Stacy Byron of Ridley Park, PA and Charlene Mancini of Linwood, PA; also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service Wednesday 1 PM at Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Service, 202 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden. Visitation Wednesday 12 Noon to 1 PM at the funeral home. Burial Edgewood Memorial Park.
