1952-2017 John Michael David, 65 of Ridley Twp, Holmes, PA, died Thursday December 14,2017 in his home. Born in Upper Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Burnley and the late Madeleine (Walmsley) David Redden. John graduated from Ridley Sr. High School, class of 1970 and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam war. He was a Welder, employed by Amtrak and was secretary and treasurer with their union. In the late 60’s John was an apparatus driver with the Folsom Fire Co. He was an avid BINGO player and participated in the Briar Cliff’s Father & Son BINGO. Predeceased by his parents and step father, James Redden Survived by his wife: Dorothy (Richardson) David. Children: Melissa David- Mardis and Michael (Melissa) David Step children, Michael (Michelle) Oliva, Stephen(Julie-Ann) Oliva, Daniel (Val) Oliva, Deana Oliva; 18 grandchildren, Brother of Bernard ( Chris) David and Stephen (Margie) David, Madeleine ( Robert) Hollenbach and his twin Joan Derby, Mother-in-law Theresa Richardson and many nieces and nephews Prayer service will be held Tuesday at 12:00 noon at Kevin M.
