John Hoyer, 14 of Ridley Twp., Swarthmore, PA., died Thursday March 05, 2020 in his home. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, he was the son of Gregory W. and Barbara (Bradley) Hoyer. He was an eighth grade student at Notre Dame de Lourdes School. John enjoyed gaming, working on computers and music. He cared a lot for others, always having nice things to say and a “spiritual hug” for anyone who needed it. “Johnny No Cheese” was known for his quick wit, ready smile and shenanigans. Survived by his parents Gregory W. and Barbara (Bradley) Hoyer, His siblings Elizabeth Hoyer and three brothers: Matthew, Theodore, and James Hoyer. Grandparents, Marc and Judith Hoyer, W. Wallace And Joanne Dyer. Also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday March 10, 2020 at 10:30 am at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, Fairview Rd. & Michigan Ave., Swarthmore. Visitation will be Monday March 9,2020 from 6-9 pm and Tuesday from 9-10:15am in the church. Interment Private. Memorial donations to Notre Dame de Lourdes School would be appreciated.
