John Peter Shepper, Jr. 70 of Ridley Twp., Morton, PA, died Thursday August 1, 2013 in his home Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John Peter Shepper,Sr. and the late Mary (Yanokaite) Shepper.. He resided in Morton for the past 35 years. John was a First Lieutenant and served during the Vietnam war in the Army He received the bronze star medal for bravery and the Purple Heart. He was a Letter Carrier, employed by the U.S. Post Office. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Morton. Survived by his wife: Jeannette (Hyres) Shepper, two sons: Jack Shepper of Morton, PA, Michael Shepper of Folcroft, PA two daughters: Nettia Shepper of Ridley Park, PA., Jessica Shepper-Richardson of Glenolden, PA sister: Leonette Laverty of Mount Laurel, NJ 4 grandchildren, Funeral Mass Thursday at 11:00 am at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church, Amosland Road, Morton Friends may call Thursday from 10-11am at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church, Burial will be private Arrangements Kevin M.
