Marie A. Duffy (nee Buehler), 92 of Granite Farms Estates Media, formerly of Folsom, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 17. Born in Ridley Twp. she was the devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Kinney) Buehler. Marie was the beloved wife of 54 years to the late Daniel E. Duffy and sister of the late Joseph M. Buehler of Florida. She is survived by her sister-in-law Marion Buehler of Florida, cousins Sabina Conway of NJ and Margaret DiIenno of Aldan. She is also survived by 8 nieces & nephews, 26 Great nieces & nephews and 45 Great Great nieces and nephews. Marie owned her own Beauty shop for over 40 years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to his WWII Army Reunions, visiting Florida with family & friends and playing cards. She was an excellent cook and baker and was famous for her “Poor Man’s Cake” recipe. A graduate of Ridley HS Class of 1939, she was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Peace Parish in Milmont Park until she moved to Media in 2003. Marie was a member of OLP’s Senior Club and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Peace Council #4518. She volunteered at Attic Treasure’s shop in Granite Farms. Friends are invited to visit her family Saturday 9:30-10am Our Lady of Peace Church, 200 Milmont Ave, Milmont Park, PA. Followed by her Funeral Mass 10am. Interment: Ss.
