Mary H. D'Amato, (nee D’Alessandro) 93 of, Glenolden, PA, died peacefully Monday September 22, 2014 in her home surrounded by her family. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and the late Angelina (Russo) D'Alessandro. Mary was a resident of Glenolden for the past 62 years. She was a member of St Joseph’s Church, Collingdale. She was active with the Flyers Fan club and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Knights of Columbus De La Salle 590. Mary enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her family She retired as a Key Punch Operator For IBM and Ceridian Predeceased by her husband Mario ‘Ted” D’Amato her son Joseph A. D’Amato and her siblings Nicholas D’Alessandro, Agnes Cione, Rita Urbano and Susan Spadea. Survived by her daughters: Diane (nee D’Amato) Lawley and Angela D'Amato Son- in -law Steve Lawley and daughter-in -law Rita D’Amato 4 Grandchildren Julie, Steven, Desiree and Mario. 2 great-grandsons Zachary and Maxwell. Funeral mass Friday at 10:30 am at Saint Joseph's Church, 500 Woodlawn Ave., Collingdale Friends may call Friday from 9:30-10:15am at Saint Joseph's Church Burial: Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
