Nancy Marie Collins, (Nee Donohue) 80 of Ridley Twp., Secane, PA, passed away peacefully at home on February 8, 2013 Born in Mount Carmel, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Donohue and the late Anna (Nee Shovlin) Donohue. Graduate of West Catholic High School, class of 1949. Nancy was an active community citizen throughout her lifetime. Starting in 1978 Nancy served as the first woman commissioner on the Ridley Township Board of Commissioners, for 12 years. She was an active member of the Ridley Twp. Library Board and the Environmental Advisory Board. A Democrat thru and thru. She held political roles as committee woman and campaign manager for several campaigns at the state, local and presidential levels. She was an active member of Town Watch, Civic Association, 4 H leader and Den Mother. Nancy enjoyed traveling, spending time at the beach with family and friends and doing her art work. Nancy was the beloved wife of 60 years to the late Anthony “ Bucky” Collins. Loving mother of : Thomas A ( Deborah) Collins Sr. , Joan M. ( Dennis ) Miller, Kevin W. ( Bonnie) Collins, Christine A ( Jeff ) Peterson and the Late Dr. Michael P. ( Jane ) Collins Loving Nana to : Emily, Tom Jr, Devon, Patrick, Shannon, Sean and Jessica Funeral mass Saturday 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, South Ave, Secane Visitation: Saturday from 9-10am at Our Lady of Fatima Church,. Inurnment: Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon.
