Raymond Frist

Raymond P. Frist, Jr. 85 of Ridley Twp, Folsom, PA, died Thursday, February 21, 2013 in the Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, Darby, PA. Born in Ridley Park, PA; he was the son of the late Raymond P. Frist, Sr. and the late Florence (nee Smith) First, Ray served in the US Army. He was a bus driver and cashier for SEPTA. Ray lived in Folsom for the past 48 years. He was an active member of Our Lady of Peace Church in Milmont Park. He formerly was active with the Boy Scouts of America, Valley Forge Council, where he served as treasurer. He enjoyed collecting trains, but most important to Ray was his family. Predeceased by his brother, Wallace Frist. Survived by his wife: Joan Mae (nee Longacre) Frist, four sons; Raymond Abel, Ronald Abel, Wayne Frist and Keith Frist, three daughters: Lynn Abel Burke, Sandra Abel Blair, Arlene Frist Grada. 15 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Mass Wednesday at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Peace Church, Milmont Ave, Milmont Park. Visitation Wednesday from 9:15 -10:15AM at Our Lady of Peace Church, Milmont Ave, Milmont Park. Burial Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be sent to Our Lady of Peace Church, or American Heart assoc. 625 W.
