Richard Jennings passed away on May 11, 2020 in Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park, PA. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 9, 1947 to Louise Jennings and Mr. Porter. In west Philadelphia born and raised….. Mr. Rich was a Master Craftsman at carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. Most will agree they have not encountered such talent, as he would amaze you with his creative design abilities and perfectionist attitude. Everyone knew that they could always call on him for knowledge and information because “he ALWAYS knows the answer on how to fix it”. In addition to his craft, he also was also a super duper bowler. He and his team once won 5 Cadillac’s is a tournament. And everyone knew better, than to even think about playing him on a pool table because you are sure to loose, not to mention chess. Mr. Rich had a large friend base. People always loved his happy go lucky attitude. You can always hears someone saying “ “That was a great guy” in appreciation of some small gesture he has performed for them or how he made them laugh and feel at home. He was truly a people person and a busy body. Richard is survived by his daughter Richeem L. Jennings-Vaughan, grandsons, Eli Vaughan, & Jakob Vaughan, son in-law, Ramon Vaughan. His partner for 20 years Lorretta Gray. His brother Randy Jennings. His nieces Olivia Coleman, Tiajana Jennings, and Tasha Jennings. His aunt Ruth Jennings and cousin Raymond Jennings. His nephew Joseph Hall. Also surviving are his step-children Nina Pratt Reed and Garland Neal Pratt. In addition he is also survived by many friends that he treated as extended family. Best friends/brothers for 60 years Bill Young and Lester. Also included are many many many more that are too many to list although they know who they are and are not forgotten.
