Robert Carl Wilkinson on November 30, 2016 of Paoli, PA Born: May 13, 1948 at Coatesville, PA to the late Arthur W. Wilkinson, Jr. and Grace Brosius Wilkinson Survived by a brother: Arthur W. Wilkinson, III of Trappe, PA Robert was employed by Handi-Crafters at their Thorndale facility for forty six years. He loved his job assembling Kiwi shoe polish kits destined for the military. He loathed missing work even due to illness. A great lover of companion animals he was fortunate to grow up with a number of them in rural Chester County. He lived a very active life at Spruce House, a Deveraux group home in Berwyn, PA, with seven other mentally challenged men beginning in 1983. He was a great fan of group dances, vacations, and outings to the Phillies, Eagles and Flyers. After a short stay at Brandywine Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center he passed in his 68th year from the related effects of Alzheimer’s.
